AMiCS : Asset Management Inventory Control System

AMiCS is the software tool developed by JEDEX to power its oilfield equipment management solutions. The JEDEX group designed AMiCS so that producers can locate, redeploy and track the movement of their production equipment online 24/7, anywhere in the world. You'll know what's active, idle, rented or surplus - enabling you to quickly redeploy equipment where it's needed. AMiCS will also help you identify and monetize the assets that don't generate revenue. Any equipment you're tracking in AMiCS that you put up for sale is automatically and immediately listed in AMiCS's public online Equipment for Sale Surplus Catalogue.

Petroleum Accountants Society of Canada (PASC) categorization scheme

AMiCS uses the oilfield equipment status and condition categorization scheme developed by PASC. The result: accurate, defendable, repeatable equipment condition ratings that equipment buyers and sellers understand.

Detailed equipment inventory

AMiCS allows you to create detailed reports on your equipment using any number of characteristics. These reports are invaluable for matching your equipment's technical specifications to specific field conditions, so you can quickly locate and redeploy the right piece of equipment for the job. Reports are also used for fixed asset accounting, property tax avoidance, pressure vessel compliance and surplus disposition.

Audit Trail for SOX

AMiCS is configured so the person approving material transfers in the system is not the same person who created them. AMiCS creates an audit trail that can be used for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and audit requirements.
